3- What are the admission requirements for the MBA program?

  •  To have a BA degree (regular or blended basis) from a recognized university.
  • The cumulative average should not be less than (2.00 out of 4.00 or 3.00 out of 5.00).
    Note: If the certificate is from abroad, it should be equivalent from Ministry of Education
  • A minimum score of 5 in the ILETS or 76 in the English language proficiency test (STEP), note that the test should not exceed two years and no one is excluded from this condition.

  • Povide the grade obtained in GMAT if available.

  • Two letters of recommendation from academic reference.

  • Approval of the applicant’s employer if he/she is an employee.

  • Fill in the application form on the website.

  • The student should pay tuition fees (1500) Riyal per credit hour.

     

4- What are the admission requirements for the Master of Information Security program?

  • To have a BA degree (regular or blend basis) from recognized university, in (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System, Software Engineering, or Information Technology).

  • A minimum score of C and GPA of (2.00\4.00 or 3.00\5.00).

  • A minimum score of 5 in the ILETS or 76 in the STEP test, note that the test should not exceeded two years and no one is excluded from this condition.

  • Two letters of recommendation from academic reference.

  • Approval of the applicant’s employer if he/she is an employee.​​

  • Fill in the application form on the website.

  • The student should pay tuition fees (1500) Riyal per credit hour.


5- What are the condition requirements for the Master of Healthcare program?

  • To have a BA degree (regular or blended basis) or higher degree in one of the following:

    • Health specialties.
    • Health administration specialization.
    • Other scientific specialization: (Medical Physics – Human Nutrition – Biochemistry – Microbiology).
  • A minimum GPA of (3.00\4.00 or 4.00\ 5.00) for Health Specialties.

  •  A minimum score of 5 in the ILETS or 76 in the STEP test, note that the test should not exceeded two years and no one is excluded from this condition.

  • Two letters of recommendation from academic reference.

  • Approval of the applicant’s employer if he/she is an employee.

  • Pass the personal interview.

  • All Applicants required to be classified by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

  • Fill in the application form on the website.

  • The student should pay tuition fees (1500) Riyal per credit hour.

 

6- What are the English language tests approved by the university?

7- Does the university have an English language test?

The university does not have a language test, but the student must register at the test sites recognized by the university.

 

8- Is the Master's degree offered by SEU recognized?

SEU is a governmental university which grants a recognized certificate from the Ministry of Civil Service and the Ministry of Education.​

 

9-  Is the Saudi Electronic University recognized abroad if I want to complete my studies there?

External recognition follow the third-party system and laws, as other universities.

 

10-  How can one apply to the university?

Applying to the university is electronic through the acceptance portal on the SEU website (www.seu.edu.sa), and the acceptance portal will be activated during the submission dates announced by the university annually.


11-  How can one send documents?

The method of delivering the document to be checked by SEU will be announced after having an initial approval.​

 

12-  When will the registration to the university begin?

This is announced through SEU website (www.seu.edu.sa) and before the opening of admission.

 

13-  Is applying to the university quarterly or annually?

Applying to SEU is annually.


14- Can non-Saudis enrol in the University?

 5% of seats are for non-Saudis who are legal resident in the Kingdom.

 

15- How are non-Saudi students of Saudi mothers admitted?

 They are admitted like Saudi students if they provide a copy of the mother's national identity.

 

16- How does the student know the result of admission?

 Text messages are sent to students according to the admission timetable, and required forms and fees are collected.

 

17- Is the University going to open new majors and when?

 Yes, it is. In the coming years, the University will announce about any news regarding majors @ www.seu.edu.sa


18-Should I pay tuition fees?

Yes.

19- How much is the Master's degree fee?

In terms of Pre MBA courses tuition fees: (130) Riyal per credit hour. The total hours are 12 credit hours.
The Master›s degree tuition fees are (1500) Riyal per credit hour. The total hours are 42 credit hours.​

 

20- Is attendance required in the University?

- Yes, there is an attendance to both face-to-face and virtual classes.

 

21- Are face to face classes in the morning or the evening?

In SEU, face to face classes of postgraduate programs are just held in the evening time.

23- My Bachelor degree was in English, can the ILETS be waived?

No, applicants must submit ILESTS results or any other equivalent.

 

24- How long is the postgraduate program?

It is usually three years and half. However, the period can be less than that if the student increases the number of credit hours per semester.

 

25- How long is in Pre-MBA semester?  What are the Pre-MBA courses?

Students, who do not have Business Administration BA, should complete the pre-requisites in one term, and needn't to attend classes during the term. But, they must pass the final exam. The courses are the following:

26- Is it required to submit recommendation letters?

Two recommendations are required when applying to all programs.​

 

27- Are there PhD programs?

 No, there aren't.

 

28- Can students, who have Bachelor degree as an affiliate student, be admitted in the University?

Programs currently offered, do not accept certificates of affiliation and distance education.


29- What is the minimum score students must get to pass Pre-MBA courses?

Students must score 70 percent to pass.


30- What is the required GPA score for Pre-MBA courses?

There is no GPA in Pre-MBA courses.


31​- Does the graduate student with GPA less than very good grade receives a graduation certificate?

According to article 39 of the unified regulations for postgraduate studies in Saudi Universities.
