Study Plan is designed to cover basic skills for common first year students, and its subjects are distributed in two semesters. Students must achieve (13) credit hours per semester which is equivalent to (24) actual hours. The table below shows that English course occupies the greatest number of hours in order to assist students to effectively communicate with academic courses that will be studied in English during university years as an official language at the university.

English Language Skills:
This course aims to strengthen and develop students' abilities in the five basics skills of English language: listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar. It includes a various range of activities to deal with these skills by covering the following concepts: basic sentences patterns, grammar rules, tenses, helping sentences, answers to questions, symbols used in English, conditional sentences. In addition, this course will focus on the construction and use of non-complex sentences, and the comparison between attributes and circumstances.
This course provides an overview of computing basics that focus on five essential areas of information technology: applications, systems, development, data and communications. It helps to develop students' understanding to absorb the core concepts of information technology and enable them to effectively utilize planning and analysis through information technology by practical application using the techniques and tools that are available for students. This course also explains the basic concepts of computer systems and information technology and displays the best way to use computers and explore software applications by offering information about the physical computer components and its functions as well as detailed information that covers applications software.
Fundamentals of Mathematics:
This course offers a comprehensive review of math basics as it highlights the development of mathematical, algebraic and numerical skills in higher thinking of problem solving. It also enhances mathematical and logical interference in dialogue and discussion skills. This course covers the following topics: linear equations, multiple pairings border and charts, exponential and logarithmic associations, equations and inequalities, linear programming and series, groups, counting systems, permutations, combinations and possibilities.
This course aims to assist students to develop trends, capabilities and effective ways to communicate with themselves and others. It enhances self-confidence and harmonious relationships in respectful, safety and effective environment by strengthening communicative, cognitive, social, receptive and productive skills.
This course aims to help students to manage themselves, abilities and their potential that lead to success, creativity and thinking critically. It enhances the acquisition and utilization of strategies, research tools and learning methods positively which benefit them to acquire, organize and recall knowledge as well as prepare and present scientific research. In addition, it strengthens self-learning tools, strategies, patterns and methods in effective E-learning environments.
