Her Excellency President of Saudi Electronic University Sponsors the Launch of the Second Meeting of Learning Management Officials at Saudi Universities

Under the patronage and attendance of Her Excellency the President of the Saudi Electronic University, Dr. Lilac Ahmed Al Safadi, the second meeting of the officials of Learning Management System in Saudi universities was launched with the attendance of a number of experts and specialists in the field.

The meeting started with a speech by Her Excellency the President, stating that: "Over the past period, the Kingdom has progressed by (5) global ranks in the human development index, achieving the world (35) rank out of (191) countries, and ranking (10) among the G20 countries, according to the report issued by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in 2022. In addition, the Kingdom has also progressed in (16) global competitiveness indicators in the education sector. This progression is a clear reflection of the wise leadership’s support of the education system, enhancing its global competitiveness and confirming that Saudi Arabia's education system is steadily moving towards the development of human capabilities."

The first session started by presenting the comprehensive transformation plans for the trimester, future plans for the national license project, and follow-up on implementing the first meeting's recommendations and what has been done about them.

The attendees in the second session followed up on the continued efforts of optimizing the use of the National Standard License Project's resources and presented the learning tools recommended to be added to the National Standard License Project.

Furthermore, a workshop was also held to review the details of the Student Information Management System to measure its suitability in higher education environments. After that, a discussion was held, the recommendations of the meeting were submitted, and universities were given the opportunity to try the new Learning Management System.
