Strategic plan

The Strategic Plan of the Saudi Electronic University 2021-2025

Saudi Electronics University strategy has leveraged objectives derived from Vision 2030, and UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, as well as Ministry of Education strategic plan and Human Capital Development Programs and SEU resolution of establishment and SWOT analysis.

SEU strategy has defined 5 themes, 5 strategic goals, and 19 objectives derived from its unique competitive advantages through 37 qualitative development initiatives.

Operational Objectives:

First Goal: Providing outstanding, distinguished education to empower learners to achieve their academic & professional aspirations. 

  1. Provide graduates with skills and knowledge that meet their academic and professional aspirations.
  2. Improve student services.
  3. Attract and retain qualified faculty members.
  4. Improve the academic environment.

Strategic Initiatives

The university has set (15) initiatives to achieve (4) operational objectives to reach the first strategic goal.

1. Provide graduates with skills and knowledge that meet their academic and professional aspirations

  • Introduce programs/curricula using e-learning methods
  • Develop programs/curricula using e-learning methods
  • Develop a comprehensive system to evaluate the educational process and academic programs
  • Promote local and global partnerships to develop and deliver the content of educational curricula
  •  Develop teaching, learning and assessment models and methods
  • Promote extracurricular activities for students
  • Identify skills, requirements and features for graduates of Saudi Electronic University

2. Improve student services

  • Automate students' services to improve their experience at the University

3. Attract and retain qualified faculty members

  • Develop a supportive and stimulating working environment for faculty members

4. Improve the academic environment

  • Improve premises and facilities in all branches
  • Update and ensure access to digital infrastructure and learning resources
  • Replace study labs with a distinct virtual labs

  • Expand the University's presence locally and regionally through increasing the number of branches

9. Promote the University's brand

  • support the University's brand to raise the awareness of university identity and services and e-learning

10. Support the production and development of provided educational e-content

  • Launch and activate a local digital production center specialized to produce the educational e-content

11. Localization of emerging e-learning practices and techniques

  • Launch an e-learning innovation center to develop local e-learning capabilities
