SWOT Model
(SWOT) Analysis is widely used worldwide as one of the most important strategic planning tools. It involves evaluating internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats) and leveraging them to achieve the institution’s desired objectives and reach its goals.
SWOT is an acronym for 4 words:
-
Strengths: Key advantages and beneficial attributes that help us achieve our Goals.
-
Weaknesses: Our limitations and detrimental attributes that hinder achieving the Goals.
-
Opportunities: External conditions that can be leveraged to achieve the Goals.
-
Threats: External conditions that pose risks or threats to our operations or Goals.
