تم افتتاح فرع الجامعة في منطقة القصيم في مدينة بريدة في السنة الثانية بعد تأسيس المركز الرئيسي للجامعة. يتابع الفرع خطة للتوسع في التخصصات والنشاطات الطلابية والاجتماعية وفق خطة الجامعة المقرة من قبل مجلسها الموقر وكذلك العمل على بناء مقر خاص في شطر الطلاب في المستقبل. فرع القصيم شاهد على أن الجامعة تسعى بجهدها لنشر معرفيتها الجديدة في جميع مناطق المملكة خدمة كل ساكنيها.
