The Saudi Electronic University received the Digital Education Excellence Award from Anthology, an international award obtained in 2023. Anthology Together – Middle East is the place where meaningful ideas and innovations in the field of educational technology are revealed and exchanged from all over the world.
The Saudi Electronic University received two international awards during the Anthology Together 2023 conference, which is one of the largest conferences concerned with educational technology in the world and a platform for thought leaders and specialists in education. The university won the two international “Catalyst” awards for the second year in a row in the category of Leading Change and the category of Diversity, Equality, Inclusion and Belonging.
The Saudi Electronic University received the Excellence Award in Global E-Learning Leadership from the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) in the category of E-Learning Leadership in 2023 AD, where the university competed with a number of distinguished universities and educational institutions worldwide.
The university passed the basic evaluation criteria for obtaining the Excellence in E-Learning Leadership Award, which was based on five pillars: learning effectiveness, achieving the best educational value for learners, comprehensive access for diverse learners, and achieving the highest levels of satisfaction for faculty members and learners.
The Arabic Online Program - one of the programs of the Saudi Electronic University - received the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Award for the Arabic Language in its sixth session in 2023 AD, in the field of education as the best initiative for teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers. The award aims to appreciate the efforts of those working in the field of the Arabic language, individuals and institutions, to advance the Arabic language, spread it and use it in public life, and facilitate its learning and teaching, in addition to enhancing the status of the Arabic language and encouraging those working on its advancement.
The Saudi Electronic University received the Educational Partner Award for the company assigned to implement the Unified National License for the Learning Management System (Blackboard) project, in recognition of the university’s efforts in activating the system’s tools and supporting universities in applying best practices aimed at providing a distinctive learning experience for students and faculty members.
