Scientific research ethics

The procedure for applying for a research ethics certificate:

1. The applicant must read and follow all instructions, guidelines and regulations relating to research ethics available on the Saudi Electronic University website.
2. Complete and submit all of the following forms, dated and signed by the principal investigator:
   • Research Ethics Approval Form (Ethical Approval Request Form) – Form No. 1
   • Participant Information Form for Research Sample and Participant Consent to Participate and Use of Their Data (Participant Information and Consent Form) – Form No. 2
   • Research tool or questionnaire.
   • The research proposal template (proposal template and research protocol) is fully detailed, signed, and dated by the principal investigator.
   • Curriculum Vitae (signed and dated) of the principal investigator and co-investigators.
3. Send the application with all attachments to the Standing Committee on Research Ethics: IRB@seu.edu.sa
