The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) is a key component of the university’s innovation ecosystem, focusing on transforming research outputs and university innovations into practical applications and marketable technologies that contribute to sustainable development and the enhancement of the knowledge economy. The office aims to protect intellectual property, strengthen partnerships with industry and society, and empower researchers and innovators to develop and commercialize their ideas. It also offers advisory and training programs in technology transfer and entrepreneurship, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to localize knowledge and stimulate innovation.

Office Tasks

Support the registration and protection of patents and intellectual property rights for university research and innovations.
Promote and build partnerships with business sectors, industry, and relevant entities.
Facilitate the transfer of research outputs and innovative ideas into marketable technologies and applications.
Enable researchers and innovators to establish and support startups based on university technologies.
Provide training programs in the fields of technology transfer and entrepreneurship.
