Program Overview
This specialized program is designed to prepare young graduates to keep pace with the digital transformation in both local and international companies. The Saudi Electronic University developed this program in response to the rapid growth of e-commerce, social media, and online engagement.
It is the first of its kind in the region and one of the few advanced programs in digital marketing worldwide. Furthermore, it is the first Master’s in Business Administration program in the region accredited by the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and offering a range of future-oriented courses to meet the needs of the Saudi digital economy.
This program uniquely integrates business, leadership, and digital marketing skills to prepare students for the fast-paced global economy.
The Master’s Program in Business Administration (Digital Marketing specialization) aims to enable students to:
- Develop comprehensive strategic marketing plans for both digital and traditional business environments.
- Apply various decision-making tools to enhance, develop, and optimize the customer journey.
- Utilize websites, search engines, and social media platforms to increase brand value and drive creative marketing.
- Apply digital marketing analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Branches (Male & Female): Riyadh – Jeddah
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related administrative field from a university recognized by the Ministry of Education. Degrees obtained from outside the Kingdom must be officially accredited in accordance with approved regulations.
- The minimum cumulative GPA must be 2.00 out of 4.00 or 3.00 out of 5.00, or equivalent. The College Council may grant exceptions, provided the GPA is not less than 1.5 out of 4.00 or 2.5 out of 5.00, or equivalent.
- Applicants must submit a valid score from one of the approved English language tests:
- IELTS (Academic): minimum score of 5
- STEP: minimum score of 76
- TOEFL iBT: minimum score of 45
This requirement is waived for:
- Graduates of the Saudi Electronic University from programs taught in English with a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.00.
- Applicants who obtained their bachelor’s degree from a university in a country* where English is the native language, provided the university is recognized by the Ministry of Education
*USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand.
- The validity of language test scores must not exceed:
- TOEFL iBT: 2 years
- STEP: 3 years
- IELTS (Academic): 2 years
Submission of only one test score is sufficient.
- Applicants must be Saudi nationals or non-Saudis residing within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a valid Iqama.
- Applicants with non-administrative bachelor’s degrees must successfully complete the preparatory semester before final admission to the program.
- Provisionally admitted applicants must pay the tuition fees for the first semester to obtain final admission.
- Demonstrate knowledge of management theories and skills to address practical challenges in a global context.
- Apply leadership theories to traditional and digital marketing strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Exhibit effective communication and research skills.
- Apply core marketing strategies, both traditional and digital, along with communication theories and skills to support managerial decision-making.
- Develop integrated and comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that combine theory, management principles, and digital marketing techniques.
- Design organizational leadership that fosters innovation in digital marketing and leverages new strategies, approaches, and emerging technologies to enhance economic performance.
- Select appropriate ethical behaviors and best practices in strategic planning, organizational design, and sustainability.
