Capture the Flag Competition in Taif University

The Computing and Informatics team at SEU achieved first place in capture the flag competition, held during the Fourth National Conference of Computer Colleges in Saudi universities (NCCC 2021) at Taif University on March 27-28, 2021. Two teams of students represented the university from the College of Computing, where they achieved first place, and the team consisted of the students: (Ali Ahmad Shali, Muhammed Muteb Al-Harbi, Marwan Yahya Alathlawi, and Bisher Muhammed Salem). Also, the female student team made remarkable progress during the competition.

 

The Dean of the College of Computing and Informatics, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Bisher, congratulated the winning students. He also expressed his happiness with this achievement, indicating that the advanced places achieved by the students are due to the grace of God Almighty. Then by the support of Her Excellency the University President Dr. Lilac Ahmad Alsafadi, she also harnesses all available capabilities and helps the students be distinguished and creative. And what the college has done in providing various training courses to develop students’ skills, in order to benefit their scientific and practical career. He added that the college was keen to participate in this competition, believing in the ability of its students to achieve advanced positions among their counterparts in other universities, stressing the excellence of students and their high level of education, and this contributed to the contributed to the college having previously obtained several advanced positions in various computer competitions.
