International Advisory Council

About the International Advisory Council

The International Advisory Council was established by the University Affairs Council under Resolution No. (47/34/11), The Council is affiliated with the University President and operates in accordance with the Rules Governing International Advisory Councils in Universities, issued by the University Affairs Council under Resolution No. (1/5/1443) at its fifth meeting held on 20/4/1443 AH.
The International Advisory Council serves as a strategic platform to support the University’s direction toward institutional development and excellence, It aims to attract and leverage global expertise in developing academic and research plans and initiatives, The Council also contributes to enhancing the quality of policies, building effective international strategic partnerships, and aligning the University’s outcomes with the needs of the global labor market and future trends. Through the Council, the University strengthens its international presence and credibility as a leading and innovative educational institution.

Council Tasks

Article 6: The tasks undertaken by the Council to achieve its goals include:

  1. reviewing the University’s strategic plan and delivering opinions and recommendations regarding it.
  2. proposing strategic development initiatives for the University administratively, academically, and financially.
  3. expressing opinion on the strategic partnerships between the University and educational and production institutions locally, regionally, and internationally.
  4. enhancing aspects of academic, cultural, and technological co-operation.
  5. presenting proposals on diversifying the University’s financial resources and strengthening its investment portfolio.
  6. promoting technology transfer and localization and supporting innovation at the University.
  7. Providing advice and opinion on issues referred to it.
