Awareness of smoking damaged

Under the patronage of His Excellency, the Dean of CHS, Dr.Abdulaziz H. Alhamidi, and the supervision of Dr. Mohammed

​A. Almohaithef, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, the College of Health Science_Female Section_ in Riyadh branch took part of a program to make students aware of the dangers of smoking. The program was going on the SEU campus last Tuesday 27 November 2019 _19/03/1440. This event was held in cooperation with The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre. There was an awareness-raising lecture on this subject under the slogan ’’Smoking and What after that!” presented by Dr. Khitam A. Al Adebi, from Family Medicine Department. It was also presented by number of the CHS’ students. The students organized some awareness talks about dangers and complications of smoking, narghiles and e-cigarettes. The event also included many corners such as passive smoking (second-hand smoke), the effects of tobacco smoke on the respiratory system, and the effects on appearance of your hair, teeth, skin, and more.

  The college was honored to attend Dr. May Salem Al-Nbaheen, Vice Rector of Students Affairs. She commended their active role both in The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre and CHS’ students who were supervised and followed up by the CHS’ Faculty Members, Dr. Ebtesam A.
